Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es bei einem gattungsgemäßen Gleichstrommotor für eine kompakte Bauform mit geringen axialen und radialen Abmessungen, für einen optimalen Wirkungsgrad auch bei Verwendung eines Nadelwickelverfahrens und für eine einfache Herstellbarkeit zu sorgen. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß durch Anspruch 1 gelöst.

The stator part is formed by stacking up a plurality of stator core plates that have a plurality of primary-phase tooth parts, secondary-phase tooth parts, and stator slots. The primary windings and the secondary windings are wound around the primary-phase tooth parts and the secondary-phase tooth parts respectively. When the current is conducted through the plurality of primary windings and the plurality of secondary windings, magnetic force is generated to rotate the rotor part. The secondary-phase tooth parts are alternately arranged with the primary-phase tooth parts with stator slot positioned in between them. The fact that the number of rotor slot is at least two times as many as that of the stator slot is capable of lowering the vibration and noise of the capacitor-operated motor having a single winding span.

For cooling an electric machine having stator windings, a housing including a series of interleading compartments is provided, the compartments being adapted for sealingly and removably enclosing one or more of the stator windings, so that during operation of the machine, a fluent coolant passing through the compartments and immersing the windings removes heat from the windings by thermal conduction. The disclosure has application to electric machines such as electric motors and generators, providing a modularised cooling system for the individual stator windings, allowing each one to be removed if necessary without requiring removal of the whole stator winding assembly. 1. A method of cooling an electric machine having stator windings , the method comprising:providing a housing comprising a series of interleading compartments;sealingly enclosing one or more of the stator windings removably in the respective compartments;operatively locating the housing in relation to a rotor of the machine; andduring operation of the machine passing a fluent coolant through the compartments to immerse the windings in the coolant, thereby to remove heat from the windings by thermal conduction with the coolant.2. A motor includes a rotor having an output shaft and a rotor main body, a bearing member for supporting the output shaft movable in an axial line direction and rotatable around the axial line, and a bearing holding member holding the bearing member. The bearing member has a tube part supporting the output shaft and a slidably contacting part capable of slidably contacting with the rotor main body. The bearing holding member has an opposed face facing the rotor main body and a recessed part provided in the opposed face. The tube part of the bearing member is inserted into the recessed part and is separated from a bottom face of the recessed part. A space between the bottom face of the recessed part and the tube part is structured as a lubricant storage part and a communication path is provided between the bearing holding member and the bearing member. 1. An electricity collection and distribution ring for collecting and distributing electricity from/to multi-phase windings includes a plurality of annular conductors respectively connected to the multi-phase windings according to the phases of electric current, and a plurality of fixing members for fixing the plurality of annular conductors to each other. The annular conductor includes a plurality of connecting portions connected to end portions of the windings at a plurality of positions in a circumferential direction. The fixing members are disposed between a pair of the plurality of connecting portions adjacent along a circumferential direction of the plurality of annular conductors.
