Реферат: 1321280 3-methylisoxazole CHEMISCHE WERKE HULS AG 19 Nov 1970 [20 Nov 1969] 54968/70 Heading C2C A process for the preparation of 3-methylisoxazole (I) comprises (a) forming 4,4-dimethoxybutane-2-one oxime (II) by reacting the ketone with a salt of NH 2 OH in aq. soln. at pH 7-12, and 20-120‹ C.; (b) reacting II with MeOH containing 0À5-10 wt. per cent H 2 SO 4 at 10-80‹C., to give 3-methyl-5-methoxyisoxazoline (III); and (c) reacting III in aq. soln. at pH below 2, and 20-120‹ C. In a modification, II is reacted with MeOH containing 1-10 wt. per cent HCl at 20-80‹ C., to form I directly.
