Реферат: 388,194. Gas cooking-stoves. KEMPTON, C. H., Stangate House, Westminster Bridge Road, London, and BISSELL, W., 8A, Castle Street, Warwick. Feb. 5, 1932, No. 3490. [Class 126.] A gas cooking-oven, of the type which is provided with radiant elements heated by the burners, comprises a radiant 13 fully exposed to the oven space and to the flames of a burner 12 adjacent its lower end, and an exit flue 9 close to the upper end of the radiant, through which the combustion products pass without entering the oven space. In the oven shown, the lower part of the rear wall is formed by a fireclay or like backing 8 for the radiant, preferably having a projecting lip 8A, and the combustion products leave through a cowl member 10. The radiant, Figs. 5 and 6, comprises a corrugated gauze element 13, which may be reinforced at the edges, held in end members 14 which fit removably on end lugs 12B on the burner, which thus supports the radiant. Other forms of substantially flat radiants may be employed, and a reflector may replace the firebrick back 8. Radiants may be provided at intervals around the whole or a portion of the interior of the oven. A ventilating aperture 6 in the bottom of the oven is loosely covered, but not hermetically sealed, by a plate 6A, which may be removed if it is desired to heat the oven by convection rather than by radiation.
