Treatment of natural gas
Реферат: 1529828 Separating gases LUMMUS CO 23 Dec 1975 [2 Jan 1975] 52722/75 Heading F4P In a process for separating a nitrogenmethane fraction from a natural gas mixture comprising methane, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, and heavier hydrocarbons, the feed gas is fed via line 107 to a first fractionation column 108 to give an overhead 111 of N 2 and CH 4 substantially free of CO 2 and heavier hydrocarbons, a bottoms mixture 110 of substantially methanefree heavier hydrocarbons, and a side-stream 109 at a point at which the CO 2 concentration is a maximum, the side stream being fed to a second fractionation column 121, the overhead 124 of which contains CO 2 and CH 4 and the bottoms 122, hydrocarbons heavier than methane. The feed gas is precooled by heat exchange at 103, 104, 118 with product streams, and work expansion at 105. The overhead stream 111 is cooled at 112, 113 to provide a liquid reflux 116, the uncondensed gas being further cooled at 132 to effect separation into liquid CH 4 in line 135 which is throttled at 136 warmed, compressed at 139, 144 and withdrawn, and gaseous N 2 in line 151 which is warmed, work-expanded at 153, further warmed and recompressed at 156 and withdrawn. Column 108 has a reflux 117- 119 and reboiler 113<SP>1</SP>. Overhead 124 from column 121 is cooled at 112 and separated at 126 into a liquid fraction which is refluxed and a gas CH 4 fraction which is warmed, compressed at 144 and withdrawn.
