Classes 20(3) and 20(4) Panels 4, Fig. 3 are held against lengthwise bearing. surfaces 8 alongside a slot 7 in a tubular member 2, by means of an outer member 10 having a central channel 11 of a width less than the slot 7 and side flanges 12 bearing on the panels 4. the member 10 being held in place by a screw 14 which draws the base of channel 11 towards an inner channel member 13 of a width greater than that of the slot 7. The width of member 13 is greater than the internal width of member 2 so that complete rotation of member 13 is prevented. A cover strip 15, beaded at 22 to engage the panels 4 has spring fingers 17 which engage ribs 19 punched in the walls of the member 10. To accommodate thicker panels 4 the inner channel member 13 may be reversed. The tubular members may be secured to a wall or other framing. or secured back-to-back to form a partition. As shown in Fig. 8, the tubular members 57 are bolted back-to-back with the interposition of spacers, which may be of cruciform shape to allow horizontal and vertical tubular members to be secured together. At the junction of walls 46; 47, places 48 form the corners, each plate having its sides folded inwards to form flanges 49 of similar thickness to the panels 50, 56. Glazing 51 is mounted in rubber channel 52 located between flanges 53 of plates 54, the other edge of each plate 54 being folded inwards to form a flange 55 of corresponding thickness to the panels. Where two walls meet at a corner an outer angle plate similar to, but larger than. plate 48 is used. In mounting a door 32, Fig. 7, in a partition wall ,each door hinge 33 is secured to a U-shaped bracket 34, the latter being secured between two tubular members 35. A plate 36 bridges the gap between members 35. A similar plate 39 between tubular members 40 has a hole 41 for the latch 42. a latch guide 43 being attached to the plate 39. Metal or as shown, wooden fillets 44 are attached to plates 36, 39.
