Реферат: A steer-by-wire steering assembly comprises a housing and a motor assembly having at least one rotor and at least one stator having a first motor winding and a second motor winding, the at least one stator being mounted to the housing. A steer-by-wire steering assembly further comprises at least one screw actuator operatively coupled to the at least one rotor. A steering shaft is connectable to at least one tie rod and the steering shaft comprises a threaded portion configured to engage with the at least one screw actuator and to move longitudinally with respect to the housing when the first motor winding and / or the second motor winding is actuated. At least one bearing is mounted between the housing and the steering shaft wherein the bearing comprises at least one elongate channel configured to receive a projecting component or portion of the steering shaft.
