Реферат: 1109. Ashford, J., and Newey, H. E. Jan. 17. Dark slides. - Relates to a dark slide for films or plates. It consists of central flame 10, Fig. 3, with a thin central plate against which the two films lie and are retained in position by marginal flaps 11. The frame 10 with its two films are pushed into an envelope 14, the open end of which makes light-tight connection with the top bar 20<a> of the frame. The envelope, with its contents, is now placed in an inverted position in the outer casing of the dark slide, as shown in section in Fig. 7. This casing has a hinged door 17, with a spring board 18, which presses against the side of the envelope when the door is shut. The top bar 20<a> is retained in a recess 20, so that the envelope can be withdrawn, leaving the central frame with the films ready for exposure on one side, the envelope and frame being turned round in the casing for the second exposure. The invention may be applied to a single-film dark slide.
