Standard impact testing of a helmeted headform shows that the RAT suspension decreases head accelerations by 50% relative to a standard suspension system. This decrease in head acceleration is expected to lead to a reduced likelihood of brain and head injury. Because the RATs absorb energy during tensile extension, they offer increases in energy absorption efficiency. These RAT suspensions can potentially replace or complement existing helmet pad and suspension systems in military, sports, and industrial safety-wear.

Rate-dependent, elastically-deformable devices according to various embodiments can be stretched and recovered at low elongation rates. Yet they become stiff and resistive to stretching at high elongation rates. In one embodiment, a rate-dependent, elastically-deformable device includes an elastically-deformable confinement member; one or more filaments placed inside the elastically-deformable confinement member; and a fluid that substantially fills the remaining volume inside the elastically-deformable confinement member. The resistance force to extension of the device is designed to increase as the extension rate of the device increases. At low elongation rates the filaments can readily slide past each other. At high elongation rates, the fluid transforms to a less flowable material that greatly increases the force and energy required for elongation; or transforms to a non-flowable material that resists elongation. The devices thus can be stretched and recovered at low elongation rates, but become extremely stiff and resistive to stretching at high elongation rates. 1. The inner bladders have interior surfaces during inner chambers and exterior surfaces exposed to an outside environment. The inner chambers are configured to store a fluid. A family cell is formed by fluidly connecting the inner bladders. One or more hybrid bladders are selected from the inner bladders and a second material having a second elasticity is applied to the hybrid bladders. The second elasticity is less than the first elasticity, such that the second material reduces the elastic qualities of the hybrid bladder. 1. A process of making a family cell of homogenous inner bladders with varying elasticity comprising:forming a plurality of inner bladders from a first material, the first material having a first elasticity, wherein each of the plurality of inner bladders has an interior surface defining an inner chamber, the inner chamber configured to store a fluid therein; and an exterior surface is exposed to an outside environment;fluidly connecting the plurality of inner bladders to form a family cell;selecting, from the plurality of inner bladders, at least one hybrid bladder; andproviding, on the exterior surface of the at least one hybrid bladder, a second material having a second elasticity, the second elasticity being less than the first elasticity,wherein the second material reduces the elastic qualities of the at least one hybrid bladders.2. 래틀 이음의 발생이 방지되면서도, 공회전 시에는 하이드로 엔진마운트의 동특성이 낮아지게 하여 NVH 성능을 좋게 할 수 있고, 대변위 시에는 높은 감쇠값을 발생시킬 수 있는 하이드로 엔진마운트를 제공한다. 하이드로 엔진마운트는 내부에 하이드로액이 봉입되는 케이스, 노즐하판과, 상기 노즐하판의 상부에 결합되는 노즐상판을 포함하며, 상기 케이스 내부를 상부액실과 하부액실로 구획하는 노즐판, 테두리가 상기 노즐하판의 상부에 밀착되도록 상기 노즐하판의 상부에 배치되며, 적어도 하나의 제1연통홀이 마련되는 제1멤브레인, 테두리가 상기 노즐상판의 하부에 밀착되도록 상기 노즐상판의 하부에 배치되며, 적어도 하나의 제2연통홀이 마련되는 제2멤브레인 및 상기 제1멤브레인과 상기 제2멤브레인이 이격되도록 하여 상기 제1멤브레인과 상기 제2멤브레인 사이에 유동공간이 마련되도록 하는 분리판을 포함한다.

本发明涉及一种基于空气弹簧的半主动控制液压悬置,解决了发动机悬置在吸收来自外界振动时可吸收的振动频带带宽较窄的问题,实现悬置可吸收的振动频带从低频到高频的全频段吸收,降低驾驶室内的振动噪声,提高乘坐舒适性。其由上悬置组、下悬置组及圆柱气室组构成,且悬置内部空腔被惯性通道和解耦膜等分割为上液室、中液室和下液室。T型槽惯性通道可以增加液体流经惯性通道时的节流损失和回程损失,增大阻尼力。两张解耦膜形成的圆柱气室与外部活塞连通,可调节活塞内部电磁线圈中电流的方向和大小实现活塞头部的上下移动,从而调节圆柱气室中气体的压强,动态的调节解耦膜刚度,最终动态的改变悬置的动感度,从而实现振动的全频段吸收的目的。
