The combined SiGe layer (50) is characterized as a digital alloy of Si and Ge having a thermal conductivity greater than that of a random alloy of Si and Ge. This method may further include the step of depositing a Si layer (61) on the combined SiGe layer (50); the combined SiGe layer is characterized as a relaxed SiGe layer, and the Si layer (61) is a strained Si layer. For still greater thermal conductivity in the SiGe layer, the first layer and second layer may be deposited so that each layer consists essentially of a single isotope.

The system also comprises a control unit mounted on a side surface of the bin comprising a 12-volt battery, an electric motor, a rotator, and a two-stage hydraulic pump. The system hydraulically causes the lifter to grasp a trash cart positioned proximate the gripper. The system also changes, based on hydraulic pressure measurements, a stage of the pump from a first stage of about 5 gallons per minute to a second stage of about 1-2 gallons per minute. The system also lifts and tilts the cart based on the change in stage, enabling contents of the cart to fall. Power for the pump and lifting of the cart is supplied entirely by the 12-volt battery.

A respiratory support assembly configured for multiple patient use is disclosed. The respiratory support assembly comprises a support, a humidification chamber, an inspiratory conduit couplable with the humidification chamber and couplable with a patient interface, and a respiratory support accessory comprising a conduit coupling portion couplable with a patient end of the inspiratory conduit, and an interface coupling portion couplable with the patient interface. A respiratory support accessory comprising a conduit coupling portion couplable with a patient end of an inspiratory conduit, and an interface coupling portion couplable with a patient interface, is also disclosed. The respiratory support accessory is configured to e.g., facilitate and/or maintain the inspiratory conduit and the patient interface in an uncoupled relationship when the patient end of the inspiratory conduit is coupled with the respiratory support accessory.
