SOUND-ABSORBING TOTALLY ENCLOSED INTERNAL-COMBUSTION ENGINE
The invention concerns a sound-absorbing totally enclosed internal-combustion engine with a blower for the ventilation of the cap interior and one as belt drive, preferably as synchronous belt drive, “trained, outside of which cap arranged, but drive for an auxiliary aggregate, e.g. the cam shaft, whereby the cover encloses itself extended over the whole auxiliary aggregate drive, covered for itself, these and an air opening for the blower as well as a transition opening exhibits into the cap for their ventilation in the blower.
With a well-known internal-combustion engine of this kind (AT-PS Nr.365306 and/or DE-OS 2846775) the idler in the cap interior arranged of the synchronous belt drive for the cam shaft is designed as blower wheel and within the range of a Lufteintrittsöffnung leading into the cap fishes arranges. The remaining auxiliary aggregates are intended and by their own belt drive are propelled outside of the cap. In this way a special blower drive is saved, however the training of the idler increases the technical expenditure as blower wheel likewise, to which still it comes that the idler dimension in oh direction becomes larger by the additional arrangement of the fan blades od.dgl. It _ist already admits, that on the crankshaft of the sound-absorbing totally enclosed internal-combustion engine sitting to design but outside of the cap arranged drive wheel of the auxiliary aggregates as centrifugal pump runner which is provided with curved channels (DE-OS 3114998). Apart from the fact that the production of such is accordingly complex, at the same time as centrifugal pump runners of trained drive wheel it showed up, it that Förderbzw. Fan effect is relatively small.
Thus the invention the task is the basis to eliminate these lack and to create an internal-combustion engine of the initially described kind, with which at lowest possible technical expenditure a sufficient ventilation of the cap interior is attainable.
Invention solves posed task thereby that Abdeekung belts as well as wheels closely encloses, whereby the air opening in the range of the expiration of belt by one of the wheels and the transition opening, by which air delivered by the blower is transferable into the cap, are intended to this wheel in the Riemenzulaufbereieh, so that the belt drive serves as blower.
By the roughness of the rapidly rotating belt, in particular toothed belt, within the cover enclosing closely it more accordingly, in belt direction of rotation erfolgen3 {} the air flow is produced, whereby also the meshing of the wheels and the belt results in an appropriate promotion effect, similarly a gear pump, so that a sufficient ventilation of the cap is obtained, although no actual blower wheel is present and only the anyway necessary cover experiences appropriate training.
Particularly good Förderbzw. Fan effect is reached by that the belt is on both sides interlocked in actually well-known way.
The designs show a remark example of the belt drive with an internal-combustion engine according to invention schematically in the partial section.
An internal-combustion engine points a sound-absorbing cap --1-- up. The belt drive from the crankshaft to the cam shaft is outside of this cap --1-- arranged, but for itself with a cover --2-- provided. It is evident that itself this cover --2-- over the whole belt drive extends, the belt designed as toothed belts --3-- and the wheels --4, 5-- it encloses closely and that it within the range of the expiration of belt --6-- of the wheel --5-- an air opening --7-- and within the range of the belt inlet --8-- to this disk --5-- a transition opening --9-- , in those air delivered by the formed blower exhibits into the cap --1-- flows. The air inlet into the cover --2-- is sound-absorbing lined. The belt --3-- could be also on both sides interlocked, if the idler --10-- likewise as tooth role is trained.
