Automated guidance for rail trolleys - with magnetic sensors to move lateral guidance rollers into guide rails

The tramcar of railway trolley is powered automatically on electric pick-up tracks and is guided by lateral guides which are engaged by lateral rollers. The rollers are coupled to linkage attached to the floor directed magnets under the trolley so that when the trolley has to change tracks the magnet moves the linkage. This moves the rollers into the appropriate guide rail so that a fully automatic guidance can be achieved over a grid. The magnets are electromagnets which are remotely operated via electric motors from a central control.
