" Two-way communication device

[2]

lock/alarm"

[3]

It is a bi-directional communications device to anti-theft/alarm that is constituted basically by a single small box in which is installed a transmitter circuit conventional alarm system for startup and shutdown, and a receiver circuit alarm, beyond this function, also must inform that the same alarm system has been activated.

[4]

The/anti-theft alarm system is installed on vehicles or on any type of moving means, can be initiated remotely by means of a transmitter of the genus frequency or infrared. In the same housing is a receiver coupled to the alarm transmitter installed on the vehicles or moving means.

[5]

As soon as the system starts up, using the transmitter or the remote control, the exchange/anti-theft alarm not only is in the closed position but also transmits a branch signal to the alarm transmitter which is on the vehicle itself, which, in turn, transmits the same signal to the receiver which is arranged in said remote control.

[6]

If the anti-theft alarm/alarm system of the vehicle sends the signal to the remote control using alarm transmitter, and gives informed of a tamper event. The present devices alarm signalling and theft typically used to the mobile means, such that the vehicles, are based in general and preferably on the method for systems by lights and/or acoustic confirm a change of state: startup to off and vice versa.

[7]

Also are in the trading of special devices which, engaged in a manner suitable to the alarm centre on the vehicle, can send signals to small receptors as vehicle owners carry on them normally.

[8]

The aim of the invention is that of the combined in the single small portable container, personal vehicle owners and easy to hold in the pocket, and the emitter of the alarm system to power on and off, and the alarm receiver also having the function of signal the branch of the system itself.

[9]

The invention is described in detail below in accordance with an embodiment which is not limited, and that refers to the accompanying drawings:

[10]

figure 1 represents in scheme the complete system/remote vehicle,

[11]

-figure 2 is a schematic electric-electronic transmitter circuit of a configuration of the start-up and the receiver circuit found in the same small box of the remote control, and

[12]

-figure 3 is a schematic electric-electronic circuit of a configuration of the alarm transmitter installed on the vehicle, conventional twin to the central alarm/anti-theft.

[13]

Drawings illustrate a bi-directional communications device to anti-theft/alarm be used on mobile means in general, like vehicles, which consists basically in the meeting in a single box of a transmitter circuit of the alarm system for starting and turning off a circuit alarm receiver, and which, also this function, must inform the system to branch itself.

[14]

For example, non-limiting, one embodiment applied to a car! 1) is described below.

[15]

The/anti-theft alarm system (2) installed on the vehicle (1) can be activated by a transmitter (6) which can be radio frequency or infrared ray.

[16]

The transmitter (6) is inserted into the box (4), with the receiver circuit (5) interconnected to the alarm transmitter circuit (3) installed on the vehicle (1).

[17]

At the switching on of the system by the remote control transmitter or startup (6), the central (2) installed in the car (1), not only changes state and position standby active but also provides a connection to the alarm transmitter (3) which, in turn, transmits the same signal to the receiver (5) by radio.

[18]

In this way, the person holding the box (4) with the receiver (5) remote receives confirmation of the correct branch of the plant.

[19]

Similarly, in the event of an alarm, the central (2), via the transmitter alarm (3), sends signaling remote acoustic by the device owner (4) in the advertises the tamper event.

[20]

In order to prevent confusion, signalings is turned on and the alarm can be differentiated by the different levels or audio tones.

[21]

In the functional logic circuits described above, the transmission of the alarm occurs with predetermined intervals so as to allow, during these intervals, receiving disconnection possible signals sent by the transmitter (6).

[22]

To ensure the remote reception, it is possible to cause the alarm transmitter circuit (3) can send periodically, at regular intervals and suitably spaced, other signals to the receiver (5) so that the user can find out at any given moment, whether it is in the radius of action of the alarm transmitter (3) and can, therefore, fittingly receiving a possible alarm signal, and, further, the signal emitted at regular intervals provides the ability to test whether the receiver has a correct reception.

[23]

Normally, the security/alarms indicate to users their state of alarm connected/disconnected by means of a predetermined sequence of flash signals of the direction arrows. Using the same available signals, it is possible the twining device alarm transmitter (3) with all kind of anti-theft/alarm without modifying the existing facility.

[24]

The transceiver (4), which comprises both the transmitter start (6) that the receiver (5), is provided with internal batteries, preferably rechargeable, which can be refilled or by means of the hoppers which are in the same vehicles (1), either by the battery chargers dwellings.

[25]

To avoid that users may forget the transceiver (4) in the battery charger on the car (1), the device can have an acoustic warning device which notifies the user forgetting or its at the time it stops the motor and the ignition key removed.

[26]

In this way, protection is very useful against the distraction. Assuming the device, object of the present invention is used with free of security alarm sound to avoid nuisance noise in the environment, said signal is active, however, maintained in the device remote signaling formed by the receiving (5), with sound levels recess more restricted.

[27]

The invention has been described and illustrated example according to a possible embodiment which is not limited to; those skilled in the material will define account that different changes for the configuration, the details, the composition of the electrical structure and/or electronic circuits and the components can be adopted, without changing the invention even, or its purpose.

[28]

A remote device for a vehicle theft alarm comprised a transmitter 6 for activating and deactivating the alarm and a receiver 5 for confirming activation and deactivation of the alarm and warning when an intrusion has occurred. The alarm transmitter 3 on the vehicle is part of a circuit which activates the vehicles indicators. The remote device is charged at a point inside the vehicle; if the driver forgets to take the remote with him when leaving the vehicle a warning signal is given.
