1295355 Valves ROBERTSHAW CONTROLS CO 17 March 1970 [18 March 1969] 12795/70 Heading F2V A valve for connecting one of two inlets 18, 24 to an outlet 29 has a diaphragm 13 clamped at its periphery between two cup-shaped housing members 11, 12 which are snap-fitted together by an annular bead 34 engaging with an annular groove 31. A seat 16, 22 surrounds each inlet and the diaphragm is moved by fluid pressure to engage the seat surrounding the inlet at the lower fluid pressure and connect the other inlet to the outlet, an aperture 39 being provided in the diaphragm to connect both sides of the diaphragm radially outwards of the seats to the outlet. The housing members are of moulded plastics.
