The present invention relates to a container for culturing cells which has increased efficiency in culturing and differentiating stem cells and various other types of cells. The container for culturing cells according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a surface for culturing cells on which adult stem cells are attached to be cultured and differentiated, wherein said surface includes projections disposed thereon and configured as duplications of those found on lotus leaf surfaces.
