Disclosed is an electronic device comprising a display for displaying a screen, a communication circuit, a power management module, a memory, and a processor, wherein the screen is turned off while entering a first mode making a preparation related to a first time range in which a user does not use the electronic device, at a first time point before the first time range, and the processor is configured to reduce the duration of the first mode so that the first mode is ended before the first time range, and apply a first configuration corresponding to the first time range while entering a second mode at a second time point at which the first mode is ended.
