The stock contains the top and bottom surfaces and a set of apertures located therebetween. Locks of bristle fibres go through the apertures, and the bottom ends of fibres are fused to form bristle coating covering at least partially the bottom surface. The bottom surface of the stock is located on distance from the head, and there is a cavity between the stock and the surface. The stock is made from firm and soft plastic materials and capable of partial elastic deformation against the head so that to take the form differing from the plane when using it. There are three variants of the tooth-brush; in the first one the stock is connected to the head on separate sites, in the second one the head has lateral dredging for access to a cavity under the stock and in the third one, the head has, at least, two stocks. A method for manufacturing a tooth-brush is also described. A toothbrush (10) includes a head (14) having multiple cleaning elements (26, 28, 30). One group of the cleaning elements is flexibly mounted on the head and another group may be fixedly mounted on the head. The flexibly mounted cleaning elements are attached to a flexible membrane (24) so that the membrane is capable of flexing to alter its original orientation during use of the toothbrush and then recover to the original orientation randomly during use.

The bristle cavities are connected with passage ways. An oral care implement is provided having a head frame and a cleaning elements assembly attached thereto with tooth cleaning elements extending from one or more carriers. One or more central carriers can be suspended via a flexible bridge between a pair of support carriers attached to the head frame. The bridge may be formed from an elastomer and permit the one or more central carriers to move from an initial position toward the head frame during use. The bridge may include rigid supports and flexible elastomeric supports.
