In various embodiments, at least one of a power outlet and communication port is coupled to the pull-out tray. A pedestal leg assembly includes a pedestal leg and floor base. The leg includes a plurality of teeth near the bottom end of the leg and a connecting bolt in a threaded engagement with the bottom end of the leg. The floor base includes a recessed portion having a slot in its bottom surface to receive the bolt and a release mechanism configured to pivot between a lock position and a release position. In lock position the release mechanism engages at least one of the teeth to prevent rotation of the pedestal leg in one direction. An improved worksurface for home and office furniture constructions. The improved worksurface generally includes a plurality of vertical openings disposed along at least a portion of the periphery of the worksurface, where the vertical openings are adapted to support removable and interchangeable accessories. The accessories can include shelving units, support stands, storage baskets, swivel arms, docking cradles, and display mounts, for example, each being positionable at multiple locations along the periphery of the worksurface. An extendable table platform assembly for use with a multihull boat is disclosed. The platform assembly includes a pair of opposing guide channels to be mounted on the underside of the horizontal deck of the multi-hull boat. A rigid elongated platform is including having a platform surface supported by a structural platform frame positioned along the platform surface perimeter.
