Device for the presentation of objects, comprising at least one pane made of transparent material and having one or more sections made nontransparent, the inner surfaces of said sections being provided with fixing or attachment elements for joining the pane(s) with other parts of said device and/or for supporting accessory means. Combined display case

A combined display case is composed of a plurality of joints, frames and glass. Each joint has connecting posts or elliptic posts which can be inserted into through holes or elliptic holes of the frames so as to connect with each other. The joints and frames have receiving grooves in which glass can be installed firmly. In addition, the display case can be opened by installing hinges on the glass, and on the bottom of the glass, a door holder can be loosened to slide down into the receiving groove of a frame to latch the glass door. When the door holder is slid out of the receiving groove, the glass door can be opened freely.

An adjustable food shield includes a panel mounting mechanism that enables extensive adjustability of the food shield. The food shield may include a post having a longitudinal axis, and a carrier coupled to the post, the carrier including a carrier clamping mechanism. An adjustable food shield includes a panel mounting mechanism that enables extensive adjustability of the food shield. The food shield may include a post having a longitudinal axis, and a carrier coupled to the post, the carrier including a carrier clamping mechanism. The carrier clamping mechanism is loosenable to enable the carrier to be moved along at least a portion of the length of the post, and is also tightenable to fix the carrier at a certain location on the post. The unit is pivotally mounted about a fixed support and comprises one or more radially extending display sections each of which is adapted to receive the cassettes in a slidable manner in the radial direction from the ends of the arms forming the display section. Unauthorised removal of the cassettes is prevented by a locking device which may be positioned under the control of a locking mechanism across the plane of withdrawal of the cassette from the arms of each display section. The locking device may comprise a relatively rotatable frame incorporating locking bars. In an alternative arrangement a locking rod may be positioned in the arms for vertical or horizontal movement under the control of a locking mechanism.
