As a result, the current-to-voltage converter may employ a higher transimpedance without distorting the output voltage signal due to oversaturation, and thus may achieve a higher SNR.

First illumination light of a first wavelength range, in which light absorption coefficient of blood hemoglobin varies with oxygen saturation thereof, is projected into a test subject body, to capture a first image signal from the first illumination light as reflected from inside the test subject body. Then second illumination light of a second wavelength range different from the first wavelength range is projected into a test subject body, to capture a second image signal from the second illumination light as reflected from inside the test subject body. A subject image of the test subject is produced from the second image signal. Oxygen saturation levels of the test subject are calculated using the first and second image signals. According to the calculated oxygen saturation levels, color properties of the subject image are changed to produce an oxygen saturation image.

The MMG signal input device is mounted on a measuring portion of a testing body, wherein the measuring portion has a plurality of muscle groups. The signal processing unit is used for receiving the MMG signals of the muscle groups, and performing integration and pre-processing on the MMG signals to obtain a processed signal. The motion database is used for storing a motion mode. The calculating unit is used for performing signal intensity computation, data segmentation, feature vector calculation, and testing body's motion recognition, and outputting a corresponding control signal according to the result of recognition.

First and second conductors ( 148, 162 ) located on the bottom layer ( 144 ) form two separate conductive paths, with a voltage potential applied to the conductors ( 148, 162 ). The top layer ( 160 ) includes a ground conductor ( 172 ). Spacers ( 178 ) are positioned between the top and bottom layers ( 160, 144 ). When forces are externally applied, the spacers ( 178 ) collapse and the ground conductor ( 172 ) contacts the first and second conductors ( 148, 162 ), and establishes a conductive path therebetween.

An optical coherence analysis system uses a laser swept source that is constrained to operate in a mode locked condition. This is accomplished by synchronously changing the laser cavity's gain and/or phase based on the round trip travel time of light in the cavity. This improves high speed tuning by taking advantage of frequency shifting mechanisms within the cavity and avoids chaotic laser behavior.
