Для нанесения проклеивающего состава на углеродное волокно и минимизации образования паров растворителя сначала объединяют полимер со смешивающимся с водой растворителем. Полимер выбран из: простого полиэфирсульфона, полиэфиркетона, бис-A-эпоксида, бис-F-эпоксида, сложного феноксиэфира, сложного фенольного эфира, сложного винилового эфира, бисмалеимида (BMI), полиимида, полиамидоимида, диглицидилового эфира бис-фенол-A-эпоксида, каучука со структурой ядро/оболочка, антраценового эпоксида, нафталинового эпоксида, новолачного эпоксида, трифункционального эпоксида, тетрафункционального эпоксида и их комбинаций. Смешивающийся с водой растворитель выбран из диметилсульфоксида (DMSO), N-метил-2-пирролидона (NMP), диметилформамида (DMF), гексаметилфосфорамида (HMPA), ацетона, метилэтилкетона, бутанона, метилового спирта, этилового спирта, изопропилового спирта, бутилового спирта, дихлорметана, хлороформа, тиоцианата натрия и хлорида цинка. Полученную проклеивающую композицию наносят на по меньшей мере одно углеродное волокно, коагулируют полимер, удаляют указанный растворитель и проводят по меньшей мере частичную сушку. The method of claim 4 , wherein applying the solution to the facing paper claim 4 , the backing paper claim 4 , or the facing paper and the backing paper hydrates a portion of the calcium sulfate hemaydrate to form calcium sulfate dihydrate.6. The method of claim 5 , wherein applying the force to the building panel causes the deformation to occur in the calcium sulfate dihydrate.7. In the third stage, a coating solution is applied, which, when it comes into contact with the substrate, forms an easy-to-clean nano-layer that gradually gets harder under ambient conditions. The coating thus formed has increased mechanical strength, protecting the substrate against both chemical and mechanical damage and can be applied on various substrates.

Coalescing solvents are among the most important components of water-borne latex paints and are required for deposition of continuous and tough films during the final stages of paint drying. Water-borne latex paints require 1-2 weight percent coalescing solvent which translates to use of about 770 million pounds in the US alone. This work focused on developing novel biobased coalescing solvents for water-borne latex paints to perform equivalent or better while being cost competitive to higher performing petroleum-based coalescing solvents. Formulation testing included minimum film forming temperature (MMFT), scrub resistance, freeze-thaw stability, and gloss. Other properties of the solvent considered were evaporation (leading to VOC content), density, viscosity, color, and hydrolytic stability. Hydrolytic stability is important for the shelf-life performance of the final paint formulation.
