Изобретение относится к листовой штамповке, а в частности к исследованию механических свойств листовых материалов для оценки их штампуемости, а также для использования в CAD/CAE-системах при компьютерном моделировании и проектировании формоизменяющих операций листовой штамповки. Из испытуемого листового материала отрезают круглую, прямоугольную, квадратную или иной формы заготовку с габаритными размерами, превышающими габаритные размеры размещенного на прижиме рифта в плане, перед формовкой заготовки в устройстве с пуансоном, матрицей и прижимом на испытательной машине или прессе. На одну или обе поверхности заготовки наклеивают антифрикционную пленку с отверстием или без него, с наружными размерами как внутри, так и за пределами рифта. Способ изготовления конструктивного элемента из поддающейся преобразованию путем горячего формования стали, при котором сначала из полосы или листа вырезают пластину, затем нагревают до температуры формования и формуют, проявляя после формования по меньшей мере частично мартенситную преобразованную структуру, отличающийся тем, что вместо отверждения в пресс-форме по меньшей мере частично мартенситную преобразованную структуру создают путем аустенитизирования и быстрого охлаждения уже перед формованием в исходном материале или сначала в подлежащей формованию пластине и в последующем кондиционированную таким образом пластину с сохранением по меньшей мере частично мартенситной преобразованной структуры после формования повторно нагревают до температуры формования ниже А-температуры преобразования и подвергают формованию при этой температуре.2. Способ по п. 1, отличающийся тем, что для формования применяют обеспеченную металлическим покрытием пластину.3. METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DRAWING HEAVY WALL SHELLS WITH A MULTI-STEP INSIDE EDGE A forming machine (10) is provided for forming a finished part (12) from a flat blank (14), Draw stations (18-24) are provided to initially form the intermediate part. Each draw station includes a punch (44, 62, 66, 70') and a draw die (48, 64, 68, 72). Each punch defines a shoulder along its length to create a first step (60) in the side walls (26) of the intermediate part. In a subsequent draw stage, a draw punch (70') forms a second shoulder along its length to create a second step (100) in the side walls (26) of the intermediate part. A draw shoulder (61) on the draw punch (71') mates with the step (60) to maintain the concentric shape thereof. In the subsequent necking and final form stages (30, 32, 34) the punch employed also has a shoulder to permit variation of the force applied to the intermediate part between the step and bottom portion.

The press for processing of metallic materials makes use of the phenomenon known as superplasticity. Relatively low pressures ar eused and no noise is generated. The metallic material is subjected to a temperature cycle which exceeds the transformation point and is also subjected simultaneously to a light mechanical load. In the press the workpiece on the lower tool is moulded by the ram while the workpiece is heated electrically above the transformation temp. and subsequently cooled for a number of these cycles. The pressure force applied in one tenth to one twentieth in comparison with that used for conventional plastic forming.

Sheared surfaces are formed with the blade side surfaces of the upper and lower dies in the metal base plate along a processing direction while leaving the set thickness t2 therebetween and the metal base plate is compressed by the overlapped portions until work-hardened to form the thin-walled portion with the horizontal width δ and the set thickness t2 between the sheared surfaces. A motor vehicle sheet metal molding of the invention is produced by hot forming from a metal sheet composed of an aluminum alloy which cannot be precipitation hardened, which contains at least magnesium and optionally manganese in addition to aluminum as alloy component. The motor vehicle sheet metal molding after forming has, at least locally, degrees of deformation which are above the forming limit curve of the aluminum alloy at room temperature. To produce the motor vehicle sheet metal molding, the metal sheet is heated at least locally to a temperature in the range from 200° C. to 400° C. over a period of from 1 to 60 seconds. The heated metal sheet is subsequently placed in a forming tool of a forming press and formed to produce the motor vehicle sheet metal molding. 1. A motor vehicle sheet metal molding made by a process comprising the steps of:heating at least portions of a sheet metal made of a non precipitation-hardenable aluminum alloy comprising aluminum and magnesium, said sheet metal being of a material state defined by a temper designation according to European norm EN515:1993 selected from the group consisting of H12, H14, H16, H18, H19, H22, H24, H26, H28, H32, H34, H36 and H38; andforming the sheet metal into the motor vehicle sheet metal molding in a cold forming tool such that at least one region of the motor vehicle sheet metal molding has a degree of deformation above a forming limit curve of the aluminum alloy at room temperature.2. The motor vehicle sheet metal molding of claim 1 , wherein the aluminum alloy comprises manganese.3.
