A bucket mixing system to aid in mixing a stabilizing agent with a material within an excavator-mounted bucket. The bucket mixing system generally includes a bucket which includes a built-in mixer adapted to mix materials and expel them through a plurality of vents within the lower surface of the bucket. A hydraulic motor is secured to the bucket which drives a drive assembly. The drive assembly is secured so as to rotate a central rod from which a plurality of anchors and mixers extend radially. Auger linkages are interwoven through the anchors and mixers to form a flexible auger configuration. The mixers may rotated bi-directionally to mix materials within the bucket and to expel mixed materials through the vents.

The present invention relates to an aggregate preheater including: a main body where an aggregate injection port is provided with a part of its upper surface being formed to be open and a discharge port is provided for the discharge of preheating-completed aggregates with a part of its rear surface being formed to be open, a plurality of rotatable mixing screws being disposed in the main body; a preheating unit made up of a flow path forming member and a burner, the flow path forming member being shaped to surround the outer surface of the main body and forming a heat flow path and the burner being provided at one end of the flow path forming member and generating heat; and an inclination operation unit selectively placing the main body and the preheating unit at an angle to the ground such that the preheating-completed aggregates can be discharged out of the main body through the discharge port. According to the present invention, the injected aggregates are subjected to uniform preheating during transport to a mixer, and then are injected into the mixer. Accordingly, the moisture contained in the aggregates can be removed, the aggregates can be sufficiently coated with an asphalt binder in the mixer with the temperature of the aggregates raised, and stirring can be performed in a prompt way. In addition, uniform aggregate preheating can be achieved even when the aggregates are injected from different positions.

A method and apparatus for providing a continuous product stream of lime slurry to a job site which is located remote from a permanent lime production plant utilizes a primary (12) and auxiliary (14) tank which are mounted on a portable frame structure (16). Lime and water are mixed in the primary tank to form a lime slurry. The lime slurry is then introduced into the auxiliary tank. A product stream of lime slurry is drawn from the primary tank until it is depleted. Lime slurry is then drawn from the auxiliary tank to supply a continuous stream of lime slurry to the job site while the primary tank is being refilled with lime and water to form a second lime slurry. The second lime slurry is then introduced into the auxiliary tank so that it is filled again and a second product stream of lime slurry is drawn from the primary tank. The process is repeated until a desired amount of lime slurry is supplied to the job site. In an alternate embodiment, the product stream is drawn continuously from the auxiliary tank while the auxiliary tank is being replenished from the primary tank.

The user positions the batch hauler truck such that the rear discharge of the storage tank is positioned near the front discharge of a front end discharge truck mixer and elevates the storage tank. A first auger draws the cement into the second reservoir through an opening and a second auger draws the mixture of the cement and particulate material through the rear discharge. An alignment structure is preferably utilized for aligning the batch hauler truck with the front end discharge truck mixer.
