Plastifiziereinheit für eine Formgebungsmaschine (2), umfassend: - wenigstens eine in einem Massezylinder (3) rotatorisch antreibbar angeordnete Plastifizierschnecke (4), welche dazu ausgebildet ist, ein zu plastifizierendes Material zu plastifizieren, und - wenigstens eine an einer Mantelfläche des Massezylinders (3) angeordnete Zuführvorrichtung (5), welche dazu ausgebildet ist, das zu plastifizierende Material in den Massezylinder (3) zuzuführen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass - eine Unterteilungsvorrichtung (6) vorgesehen ist, welche die Zuführvorrichtung (5) in zwei Teilbereiche (7,8) unterteilt, wobei ein erster Teilbereich (7) dazu ausgebildet ist, das zu plastifizierende Material in den Massezylinder (3) zuzuführen, und ein zweiter Teilbereich (8) fluidtechnisch mit einer Entgasungsvorrichtung (9) verbunden ist, und/oder - entlang der Längsachse (10) des Massezylinder (3) an einem Ende des Massezylinders (3) eine Öffnung (11), über welche Öffnung (11) die wenigstens eine Plastifizierschnecke (4) in den Massezylinder (4) eingeschoben ist, fluidtechnisch mit der Entgasungsvorrichtung (9) verbunden ist, wobei die Entgasungsvorrichtung (9) dazu ausgebildet ist, während der Plastifizierung des zu plastifizierenden Materials entstehende Gase aus dem Massezylinder (3) abzuführen.
