Disclosed are a non-glue PVC non-slip floor tile and a preparation method therefor. Flexible lines are formed on the bottom surface of the PVC non-slip layer of the non-slip floor tile by hot pressing; and the lines formed by hot pressing comprise a plurality of seal inequilateral hexagon protruding ribs being connected continuously and repetitively. The material formulation of the PVC non-slip layer comprises by weight: 58.5%-63.5% of PVC with polymerization degree of 1000, 34.9-39% of plasticizing agent, 0.95%-2.1% of stabilizing agent, 0.5%-0.69% of toner powder, and 0.06%-0.08% of calcium carbonate of 800 mesh. The required softness obtained by using particular formulation dosage of the non-slip layer, combined with the inequilateral hexagon non-slip lines having the particular size and shape, enables the slip coefficient of the non-slip floor tile to be more than 1.5, thus the bottleneck of improving the non-slip performance in the industry of plastic floor tiles is overcome.

The thin film (less than 25 µm thick) includes a barrier layer and an adhesive layer, preferably tie and release layers, and optionally abuse layers. The adhesive layer is the layer that is closest to the packed food. The barrier layer is preferably polyethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH). The adhesive layer is preferably polyethylene vinyl acetate (EVAc), optionally blended with 10% low density polyethylene (LDPE) or calcium carbonate (CaCO3). The release layer is preferably polyolefin, especially ethylene alpha-olefin copolymer, e.g. 80% linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) ethylene octene copolymer containing 15% CaCO3 and 5% other additives. The film is preferably < 20 (< 18) µm thick. The tie layers may be maleic anhydride modified polyolefin, e.g. modified LLDPE. The abuse layer may be polyolefin. The film may be produced using a hot blown film method.

Graft compositions, useful for tie-layer adhesives, are disclosed. The graft compositions comprise the reaction product of a live, grafted polyolefin and an olefin elastomer. The grafted polyolefin is first made by heating a polyolefin and an unsaturated monomer. Further reaction of the live, grafted polyolefin with an olefin elastomer provides the graft composition. Grafting efficiency is boosted dramatically by the presence of the olefin elastomer and use of the additional reaction step. The graft composition, when formulated into a tie-layer adhesive at low concentration, affords multilayer structures with good adhesion and high clarity.

There is provided a geomembrane consisting of a multilayer structure comprising a barrier layer (A), an adhesive layer (B) made of an acid-modified thermoplastic resin and a thermoplastic resin layer (C), wherein the thermoplastic resin layer (C) is laminated on at least one side of the barrier layer (A) via the adhesive layer (B), and the barrier layer (A) has an ethylene unit content of 18 mol % or more and 55 mol % or less and comprises a modified ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer comprising a modifying group having a primary hydroxyl group. The geomembrane exhibits excellent peer strength between the barrier layer and the adhesive layer, exhibits further improved peel strength after prolonged exposure to high temperature and high humidity conditions. 1. The present disclosure provides multi-layer articles that comprise a polyolefin component and a polymer blend attached to the polyolefin component, wherein the polymer blend includes (1) a propylene and α-olefin copolymer in an amount from about 15% to about 70% by weight of the polymer blend, and (2) a carbon monoxide-containing polyolefin-based copolymer in an amount from about 25% to about 85% by weight of the polymer blend. A zeolite formulation has been identified that is to be included in an arrangement of barrier layers allowing for the entrapment of volatile organoleptic compound (VOCs), in particular, odor causing VOCs, between the barrier layers in order to contain the release of these compounds. The entrapment technique allows for extended time to adsorb, absorb or react such VOCs before they can be absorbed by the product surrounded by the packaging. A zeolite formulation of an odor scavenger layer not having any VOC barrier layers within the film is also disclosed having the capability to contain the release of hydrogen sulfide over a period of at least 20 days. 1. A film comprising:a skin layer defining an outside surface of the film;an oxygen barrier layer; andan odor scavenger layer disposed between the skin layer and the oxygen barrier layer;wherein the odor scavenger layer comprises a zeolite formulation that contains the release of odor causing volatile organoleptic compounds (VOCs) over a period of at least 20 days.2. An interlayer comprising: a resin layer comprising a poly(vinyl acetal) resin and a plasticizer , wherein said poly(vinyl acetal) resin comprises at least 10 weight percent of residues of at least one branched aliphatic aldehyde , based on the total weight of aldehyde residues of said poly(vinyl acetal) resin , wherein said plasticizer is present in said resin layer in an amount of at least 50 phr and wherein said resin layer has a tan delta of at least 1.05.2. The interlayer of claim 1 , wherein said poly(vinyl acetal) resin comprises at least 50 weight percent of said residues of said at least one branched aliphatic aldehyde claim 1 , based on the total weight of aldehyde residues of said poly(vinyl acetal) resin.3. The interlayer of claim 2 , wherein said resin layer further comprises another poly(vinyl acetal) resin physically blended with said poly(vinyl acetal) resin claim 2 , wherein said another poly(vinyl acetal) resin comprises less than 20 weight percent of residues of aldehydes other than n-butyraldehyde claim 2 , based on the total weight of the aldehyde residues of said another poly(vinyl acetal) resin.4. The interlayer of claim 1 , wherein said plasticizer is present in said resin layer in an amount of at least 55 phr and said poly(vinyl acetal) resin has a residual hydroxyl content of at least 8 weight percent.5. The PVC composite material includes 40-60 parts by weight of PVC, 40-60 parts by weight of calcium carbonate, 0.2-0.6 parts by weight of composite foaming agent, 3-5 parts by weight of foam regulator, 2-4 parts by weight of toughener, 0.8-1.2 parts by weight of lubricant, and 2-3 parts by weight of stabilizer.
