A capsule can be placed, rim side down, on the base unit over the aperture, and the plunger used to urge the capsule down into the aperture. Upstanding ridges 28, 30 may be provided. The result is that the capsule inverts, rupturing the foil layer and emptying the coffee or other infusion into the base unit below the aperture. There is provided a content use monitoring package and method of making the same. The package includes a cover layer followed by a blister card layer. The third layer comprises an electronic sensor monitoring tag connected to a rupturable layer imprinted with a conductive grid. The grid is printed on a non-conductive, non paperboard rupturable substrate and is aligned with associated blisters in the blister card. To ensure precise and reliable electrical continuity between the tag and grid they are connected by a low or zero insertion force flat flex connector which connection is also reversible. The tag includes re-usable electronic circuitry and power source. The fourth and bottom layer is a backing which contains a mechanism to tear open the package and remove the tag by unplugging the flex circuit connector. The tag can then be reused and the battery replaced as required.

There is provided a content use monitoring package and method of making the same. The package includes a cover layer followed by a blister card layer. The third layer comprises an electronic sensor monitoring tag connected to a rupturable layer imprinted with a conductive grid. The invention proposes to dispense a substance from a container filled with a single portion of a substance. The container comprises a preformed deformable body defining a filling cavity which body has an opening and an integral planar circumferential rim surrounding said opening. The opening is closed by a cover sheet which is sealed to the circumferential rim by a circumferential sealing seam. The circumferential rim has a dispensing part which is covered by the cover sheet. A dispensing passage is formed between the dispensing part and the cover sheet. At the location of the dispensing passage is provided a weakened sealing seam portion, such that upon pressurizing the content of the container, the weakened sealing seam portion breaks and substance flows out of the container through the dispensing passage. The dispensing part is flat and the dispensing passage for the substance is defined by the cover sheet sealed to the flat dispensing part by at least two outwardly directed sealing seams. The outwardly directed sealing seams extend at a distance from one another from the circumferential sealing seam to the edge of the dispensing part.

본 발명은 블리스트 포장재(2) 상에 알루미늄 박지에 실링되어 다수개로 배열 삽설된 정제(1)를 분리하기 위한 제포 장치에 있어서: 상기 다수개로 적층된 포장재(2)를 크기에 따라 고정 가능하게 투입부(11)에 근접 고정되어 포장재(2)의 일측을 지지하는 고정브라켓(12a)과, 한쌍의 장공(14) 상에 삽설된 상태로 이동하여 포장재(2)의 타측을 지지하는 이송브라켓(12b)과, 이송브라켓(12b) 상에 장공(14)으로 이송되는 이송브라켓(12b)을 고정하는 고정볼트(15)를 갖는 브라켓부(12)를 구비하고, 포장재(2)가 순차적 투입이 가능하게 기울어진 형태의 슬라이딩부(13)를 갖는 투입부(11)를 구비하는 본체(10); 상기 본체(10)의 투입부(11)에 근접 설치되어 가압을 통해 회전 가능하게 힌지(21a)를 구비하는 회전체(21)와, 회전체(21) 상에 회전 반경을 제한하는 요홈(22a)과 돌부(22b)와, 회전체(21)의 하부에 최하층의 포장재(2)를 가압 고정하면서 이송을 원활하도록 구비하는 롤러(23)를 구비하는 고정수단(20); 상기 본체(10)의 투입부(11)에 근접하여 설치되고, 고정수단(20)에 고정된 최하층의 포장재(2)를 안착한 상태로 순차적으로 일방향 이동시키는 이송부(30); 상기 본체(10) 내부에 이송되는 포장재(2)의 일측을 맞물어 이송시키면서 삽설된 정제(1)를 포장재(2)로부터 분리하여 낙하시키고, 정제(1)의 배열 상태에 따라 지지 간격(α)을 조절하게 가압기어(42)의 하부에 서로 대응되게 위치하여 이송되는 포장재(2)를 지지하면서 알루미늄 박지의 개봉이 용이하게 치열(43a)을 갖는 다수의 지지부(43)와, 지지부(43)와 각각 일체로 회전되게 형성되어 내부에 돌부(44a)를 구비하는 회전부(44)와, 회전부(44)의 돌부(44a)를 수용한 상태로 회전 시 정제(1)의 배열 상태에 따라 지지부(43)와 회전부(44)의 간격(α) 조절이 가능하게 각각의 경사각(β)이 점차적으로 커지도록 형성되는 리드(45a)를 갖는 회전축(45)과, 회전축(45)의 끝단에 일체로 회전축(45)을 회전시켜 간격(α) 조절을 시행하는 조절핸들(46)을 갖는 조절수단을 구비하는 분리부(40); 상기 본체(10) 내부에 분리부(40)로부터 분리되어 낙하하는 정제(1)를 수용하는 저장부(50); 및 상기 본체(10) 내부에 이송부(30)와 연동하여 포장재(2)의 투입 속도를 조절하게 구비하는 조절부(60);를 포함하여 이루어지는 것을 특징으로 한다. 이에 따라 본 발명은, 장치의 소규모가 가능하면서 분리부를 통해 정제의 안전하면서 신속 간편한 분리가 가능하고, 분리된 정제에 사람의 손이 닿지 않게 됨으로써 이물질이나 세균을 통한 오염을 방지할 수 있어 제품의 사용효과 및 위생 안전성과 신뢰성이 향상되며, 포장재의 어떠한 배열에도 조절 가능함으로 다양한 정제의 분리가 가능한 효과를 제공한다. A dispenser 10 is disclosed for dispensing contents of a sachet or pouch. The dispenser comprises a support 12 for supporting a sachet, and a frame 13. The frame 13 is moveably mounted with respect to the support 12 and arranged to move preferably by pivoting about a hinge, between an open configuration in which the dispenser 10 can receive a sachet and a closed configuration in which the sachet is clamped to the support 12. The dispenser 10 further comprises means 21 which extends across the support 12 and which is arranged to move along the support 12 to compress a sachet onto the support 12, thereby dispensing the contents of the sachet. The means 21 is preferably a roller which maybe covered by a shroud 26. Serrations 20 may be present to aid the user in opening the sachet.

A device 10 for removing tablets from blister packs is formed as a substantially U-shaped member having a pair of spaced legs 12, 14 which can be resiliently moved together. A blister pack is supported in the U-shape on the one leg 12 with sealed compartments upstanding and one of the compartments being aligned with an aperture 18 in the leg 12. Hand pressure on the other leg 14 moves a profiled member 20 initially against an upstanding side edge of the respect of compartment, with continuing hand pressure deforming the plastics material of the compartment and pushing the tablet against a foil closure to break the latter and therefore displace the tablet through the foil and through the aperture 18.
