The invention relates to a discharge selector for water-closets, that allows the control of the discharge of water from the cistern of the water-closet into the bowl, in two different proportions, which allows less water to be used when liquids are to be removed from the bowl and a larger proportion of the content of the cistern to be discharged when solids are to be removed from the bowl. Said device consists of a single part provided with mechanisms that allow it to operate in the described manner and also allows the quantity of water discharged to be adjusted within a certain range. The device is universally applicable and does not leak water even if the packaging loses elasticity. The device can be installed by the user thereof as the installation is just as easy as that of the replacement flap in any currently commonly used discharge valve.

Flush Valve Handle Assembly Providing Dual Mode Operation

A dual mode flush valve includes a handle assembly having a handle, a bushing and a plunger. The bushing has a sleeve with a passage therethrough for mounting the plunger for sliding and tilting. The passage is defined by first and second partially overlapping bores that coincide at the inner end of the sleeve and are spaced one above the other at the outer end of the sleeve. The bores define a horizontal plunger travel axis and an angled plunger travel axis. Depending on which direction the user actuates the handle the plunger will travel along one of these axes. Travel along the angled axis will lower the plunger tip, allowing earlier clearance of a relief valve and a reduced flow through the flush valve compared to actuation with the plunger travel along the horizontal axis.

A toilet flushing system , comprising:a frame;a piston moveable within the frame;a lever mounted to the frame, wherein the lever lifts the piston to a first latched position for a first flush and lifts the piston to a second latched position for a second flush; anda locking mechanism mounted to the frame, wherein the lever lifting the piston causes the locking mechanism to move between a locked position that prevents the piston from moving to the second latched position to an unlocked position that permits the piston to move to the second latched position.12. In at least one embodiment, the device includes a connector having a base adapted for connectivity and placement adjacent to a traditional pole assembly and proximate to an opening valve within a tank of the toilet. In at least one embodiment, the device includes a flexible pressure arm integrally formed with the connector base and adapted to couple to the opening valve within the tank of the toilet and adapted to provide a pressure to the opening valve to lessen overall water utilized in each flush of the toilet and thereby conserve water. A system for flushing a toilet having a pump in fluid communication with a floatable, adjustably buoyant container by being connected with a tube to such floatable, adjustably buoyant container. The floatable, adjustably buoyant container is located inside the water tank of a toilet having a flapper covering the discharge hole in the tank of the toilet and is attached to such flapper. The pump provides a fluid less dense than water to the floatable, adjustably buoyant container and thereby raise the flapper and allow water to proceed through the discharge hole. When the fluid is allowed to leave the floatable, adjustably buoyant container, the flapper is lowered and again seals the discharge hole.
