Um diese Konfigurationsdaten zu gewinnen kann eln Smartphone verwendet werden. With a scalloped upper and lower edge, overlapping slats can produce a variety of light allowing and esthetic modes. Some versions only support up and down movement and some slats are rectangular. This is caused by hiding and exposing of slat portions and voids between slats by the relative movement of odd and even slats. Slats may have translucent colored portions, apertures or printed designs. The absolute movement may only be of one subset of slats while other slats stay in position. In other cases all slats can move simultaneously in relation to each other. Mechanisms include screw drive with "lost motion" operation and movement latches. An improved blind cutting machine has a work surface on which a blind to be cut is placed and at least one end stop against which an end of the blind to be cut rests prior to being cut by a cutting mechanism. An actuator is connected to the end stop. The actuator moves the end stop relative to the work surface and the cutting mechanism in response to signals from a controller. An operator enters information about the blind to be cut and the dimensions of an opening over which the blind to be cut is to be mounted into the controller. The controller then calculates the location where the end stop should be so that a sufficient amount of material can be trimmed from an end of the blind to be cut to enable the blind to fit the opening. Then the controller sends a signal to the actuator that causes the actuator to move the end stop to that location. A system for biasing or encouraging a sheet of material to gather in one direction when one edge of the sheet of material is moved toward an opposite edge of the sheet of material is provided. A plurality of strips of material may extend along a face of the sheet of material and may be laminated to the face of the sheet of material. The plurality of strips of material may overlap each other and may define stiffened regions extending along the overlapped interface between the plurality of strips of material. When the covering is moved from an extended position to a retracted position, the sheet of material may gather in loops of material that may have apexes defined at or adjacent the overlapped interfaces of the plurality of strips of material. 1. A covering for an architectural opening , comprising:a head rail;a bottom rail;a first sheet of material extending from the head rail to the bottom rail and configured to hang in a substantially flat, vertical plane when the covering is in a fully extended position, the first sheet of material including stiffened areas extending horizontally along a rear side of the first sheet of material, wherein when the covering is moved from the extended position to a retracted position, the first sheet of material gathers in rearwardly-directed loops of material having apexes defined along the stiffened areas;a second sheet of material attached to a front side of the first sheet of material, wherein the second sheet of material forms forwardly-directed loops of material when the covering is in the extended position; anda set of lift elements operative to raise the bottom rail toward the head rail.2. The covering of claim 1 , wherein the second sheet of material is attached to the front side of the first sheet of material along lines of attachment that alternate with the stiffened areas along a length dimension of the first sheet of material.3. A cellular shade includes a head rail unit, an intermediate rail unit, a bottom rail unit, a blind body and a magnetically attractive unit. The head rail unit includes a head rail and a lower mounting bracket. The intermediate rail unit includes an intermediate rail and an upper mounting bracket. The magnetically attractive unit includes a first housing mounted on the lower mounting bracket, a second housing mounted on the upper mounting bracket, and a magnet mounted on one of the first and second housings. The other one of the first and second housings is magnetically attractive with the magnet. The first housing includes a first positioning member to be retainingly positioned to the lower mounting bracket.
