A hydraulic drive system for a working machine provides improved safety during forced regeneration. Upon input of a forced regeneration command signal from a forced regeneration switch, a controller detects non-operated states of all hydraulic actuators such as an arm cylinder arranged on a hydraulic excavator based on a lock detection signal from a gate lock detection switch, and also an attitude of a front working mechanism. The attitude is proper from the standpoint of safety. The detection is based on an arm angle signal from an arm angle sensor, a bucket angle signal from a bucket angle sensor and a boom pressure signal from a boom pressure sensor. Taking the detection of the non-operated states and proper attitude as conditions, the controller outputs control signals to a boosting proportional solenoid valve and flow-rate controlling, proportional solenoid valve to make a forced regenerator conduct forced regeneration.

Установлено, что бензиновые двигатели с непосредственным впрыском топлива выбрасывают твердые частицы на протяжении первых 500 секунд работы из-за топлива, ударяющегося о поверхности камеры сгорания. Для того чтобы значительно предотвратить попадание топлива на поверхности в камере сгорания, топливо можно подогревать. В одном варианте осуществления охлаждающая жидкость двигателя, которая нагревается в частях водяной рубашки, ближайших к выпускным каналам, подается непосредственно в трубку в физическом контакте с направляющей-распределителем для топлива. В некоторых вариантах осуществления трубка оснащена электрическим нагревательным элементом. Если в начальные части холодного запуска насос охлаждающей жидкости выключен, температуру топлива в направляющей-распределителе для топлива повышает электрический нагреватель. После того температура охлаждающей жидкости двигателя повышается, в трубку рядом с направляющей-распределителем для топлива подается вода, теплая охлаждающая жидкость, а нагреватель выключается. Thus, the temperature-rising assistance is stopped, however the automatic regeneration is continued.

A fuel management microprocessor system controls injection of the anti-knock agent so as to control knock and minimize that amount of the anti-knock agent that is used in a drive cycle. It is preferred that the anti-knock agent is ethanol. The use of ethanol can be further minimized by injection in a non-uniform manner within a cylinder. The ethanol injection suppresses knock so that higher compression ratio and/or engine downsizing from increased turbocharging or supercharging can be used to increase the efficiency of the engine.

A position detecting device has an output circuit, which controls voltages of signal lines connecting a power supply and a ground by a power side transistor and a ground side transistor. An output signal line connects a connection point of the signal lines and an output terminal. A first comparator circuit outputs a signal “1” when a current flowing in the line between the power supply and the connection point is larger than a normal current flowing into the ground from the power supply in a normal state. A second comparator circuit outputs a signal “1” when a current flowing in the line between the connection point and the ground is larger than the normal current. When the signal “1” is output from the first comparator circuit or the second comparator circuit, a cutoff circuit turns off a switch disposed in the output signal line.

The diagnosis method comprises steps of: heating the lambda sensor to cause the lambda sensor to reach an inner temperature that is higher than about 600° C.; polarizing a first one of the pins by connecting the first pin to a supply voltage through a first limiting resistance; measuring a voltage of all of the pins while the first pin is connected to the supply voltage; and diagnosing a presence of a short circuit to an electrical ground if the voltage of at least one of the pins is lower than a predetermined threshold. A control unit performs the diagnosis.
