A jaw device 10 is composed of two components 12, 14 having an overall semicircular shape in order to constitute an annulus enclosing the joint. Each component 12, 14 has several holes 28 extending radially towards the inside from its outer surface 30. Each hole is tapped and, in service, capped by an injection connector allowing a seal composition to be injected in the gap separating opposing flanges 34 between the flange bolts 32, and in the gaps separating these bolts from their receiving holes. The jaw annulus 10 is positioned with respect to the flanges 34 by inserting, by sliding and without clearance, a rib 38 between the flanges. The said rib consists of the rod of each T-shaped component 12, 14. Components 40 extend as a bridge between each flange 34 and the jaw annulus 10 in order to prevent a relative displacement of the flanges.

The capacitance measurement can be made between a capacitor plate carried by the gasket and at least one of the flanges which serves as another capacitor plate. A capacitance-measuring instrument connected to the plates provides a measured capacitance signal that can be provided to a signal-processing instrument such as a personal computer. Further, the personal computer can be linked to a remote data center over a communications link for the transfer of gasket compression data.

The nut is for repairing leaking bolt holes in flanged pipe joints by means of a closed-end nut having a sharp circular projection on its open end. When this sealing nut is substituted for existing nuts on bolts in the flanged joint and tightened, the nut, which is hardened, cuts a circular groove in the face of the flange that makes a metal-to-metal seal to close leaks at bolt holes. The bolts may be same diameter as the existing bolts and may be installed one at a time to accomplish the repair without reducing pressure in the pipe. Leakage from between the flanges at their perimeter is closed off by sealing in a conventional manner by welding a band around the perimeter of the flanges before the bolt hole sealing is started.

The present invention relates to a leak detection method of the pipe and a leaky part repair system, and more specifically, 30 to 35 parts by weight of potassium chlorate, 35 to 40 parts by weight of metallin, and 25 to 35 parts by weight of color dyes with respect to 100 parts by weight of sodium bicarbonate. Leak detection method which detects leakage of colored oil smell smoke by visual and odor by supplying smoke colored smoke formed by burning the mixed mixture into the pipe at a constant pressure and leak detected by the above method. The leaking part is wrapped with an elastic rubber tube, and after being wrapped, the leaked part is repaired by vacuum-pressing by discharging air in the rubber tube through an air outlet formed at one side of the rubber tube, and repairing the damage of the rubber tube outside. The present invention relates to a repair system that couples a coupler that protects against shock and prevents leaks. The system is to have an effect, such as ease of operation, and reduce costs.

A temperature sensor detects the temperature of the liquid coolant. A pressure sensor detects the pressure in the coolant tank. A processor compares the pressure in the coolant tank to predicted pressure in the coolant tank as a function of liquid coolant temperature. The processor determines and outputs a signal indicative of a leak in the sealed cooling system if the pressure in the coolant tank deviates from the predicted pressure in the coolant tank according to predetermined criteria.

PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION IS A SAFETY ELEMENT FOR THE REGULATION OR CONTROL OF FLUIDS THAT CIRCULATE WITHIN A PIPE, SPECIFICALLY A SAFETY PIPE WITH A DOUBLE WALL THAT ENCLOSES A HOLLOW SPACE. THE ELEMENT INCLUDES A BOX FORMED BY WALLS AND SEVERAL FLANGES THAT ALLOW ITS HERMETIC COUPLING WITH THE PIPING. SUCH BOX IS SURROUNDED COMPLETELY BY A SECOND WALL (6) SEPARATED FROM THE FIRST WALL (5) BY A HOLLOW SPACE (7) WATERPROOF TO GAS AND THAT CAN BE CONNECTED TO A MEASURING DEVICE FOR THE CONTROL OF ITS CONTENT. A leak detection feature for a fluid conduit is provided. The leak detection feature facilitates the monitoring of fluid leaks at the interface of two adjoining conduit flange fittings. An embodiment of a flange fitting with a leak detection feature for a fluid conduit having an opening is disclosed herein. The flange fitting includes a flange body around the opening of the fluid conduit, a leak detection passageway (120) formed in the flange body, and a leak detection port (124) formed in the flange body. The flange body has a sealing face surface configured to mate with a cooperating flange fitting, and the leak detection passageway terminates at the sealing face surface. The leak detection port is in fluid communication with the leak detection passageway, and the leak detection port is configured for fluid communication with a leak sensing apparatus.

A safety element is disclosed for influencing or inspecting fluid media in a duct, in particular a double-walled safety duct whose walls are separated by a hollow space. The safety element has a housing formed by walls and flanges for sealingly connecting it to the duct. The housing is surrounded on all sides by a second wall (6) separated from the first wall (5) by a hollow space (7) which is closed in a gas-tight manner and can be connected with measurement equipment for inspecting its contents. The hollow space (7) communicates through one or several bores (13) with a groove (15) shaped around the duct into the sealing surface (14) of the flange (1) or its seal (18).
