A method comprising:presenting to a user driving instructions associated with a navigation route;receiving a biometric parameter of the user;determining a stress level of the user based at least on the biometric parameter; andadjusting a level of detail of the driving instructions presented to the user based at least in part on the stress level of the user.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the biometric parameter is a metric representing the stress level of the user.3. The method of claim 1 , further comprising comparing the stress level of the user to a threshold to determine whether to adjust the level of detail of the driving instructions.4. The method of claim 1 , wherein adjusting the level of detail of the driving instructions includes increasing the level of detail when the stress level of the user is determined to have increased.5. The method of claim 4 , wherein adjusting the level of detail of the driving instructions includes highlighting an upcoming section of the navigation route.6. A context-aware voice guidance method is provided that interacts with other voice services of a user device. The voice guidance does not provide audible guidance while the user is making a verbal request to any of the voice-activated services. Instead, the voice guidance transcribes its output on the screen while the verbal requests from the user are received. In some embodiments, the voice guidance only provides a short warning sound to get the user's attention while the user is speaking on a phone call or another voice-activated service is providing audible response to the user's inquires. The voice guidance in some embodiments distinguishes between music that can be ducked and spoken words, for example from an audiobook, that the user wants to pause instead of being skipped. A method of controlling a display of a mobile augmented reality device of a user for pedestrian navigation , having the steps:generating a static navigation display for a destination that is fixedly positioned in a real environment;detecting a situation that requires an adaptation of the display of the mobile augmented reality device on the basis of user input or a distance of the user from a displayed navigation path; andgenerating a static navigation display adapted to the situation, or a supplementary navigation display.2. The method of claim 1 , wherein the user input comprises a facial gesture of the user claim 1 , a hand gesture of the user claim 1 , or a voice command of the user.3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the supplementary navigation display is a temporary navigation path toward the destination claim 1 , a compass claim 1 , or a directional arrow.4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the supplementary navigation display is a visual signal with a directional characteristic.5.
