ADHESIVE FILM AND METHOD OF ENCAPSULATING ORGANIC ELECTRODE DEVICE USING THE SAME

An adhesive film, and a product and method of encapsulating an organic electronic device (OED) using the same are provided. The adhesive film serves to encapsulate the OED and includes a curable hot-melt adhesive layer including a curable resin and a moisture absorbent, and the curable hot-melt adhesive layer includes a first region coming in contact with the OED upon encapsulation of the OED and a second region not coming in contact with the OED. Also, the moisture absorbent is present at contents of 0 to 20% and 80 to 100% in the first and second regions, respectively, based on the total weight of the moisture absorbent in the adhesive layer. 1. An adhesive film for encapsulating an organic electronic device (OED) , comprising:a curable hot-melt adhesive layer including a curable resin and a moisture absorbent,wherein the curable hot-melt adhesive layer comprises a first region coming in contact with the OED upon encapsulation of the OED; and a second region not coming in contact with the OED, andthe moisture absorbent is present at contents of 0 to 20% and 80 to 100% in the first and second regions, respectively, based on the total weight of the moisture absorbent in the adhesive layer.2. The adhesive film of claim 1 , wherein the curable hot-melt adhesive layer has a viscosity at room temperature of 10dyne/cmor more.3. The adhesive film of claim 1 , wherein the curable resin has a water vapor transmission rate (WVTR) of 50 g/m·day or less when measured in a cured state.4. Organic electronic packages having sealed edges. More specifically, packages having organic electronic devices are provided. A number of sealing mechanisms are provided to hermetically seal the edges of the package to completely protect the organic electronic device from external elements. A sealant may be implemented to completely surround the organic electronic device. Alternatively, edge wraps may be provided to completely surround the organic electronic device. 1. The present invention aims to provide an organic electroluminescence device that operates successfully without strict sealing. By the arrangement of the electrostatic protection unit, problems such as breakdown of the transistors due to electrostatic accumulation caused by bending operation of the display panel, as well as encapsulation structure failure due to damage to the first blocking wall can be avoided. 1. The packaging adhesive includes a frit, an organic solvent, and a material with a thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of the frit. Using the packaging adhesive provided by the present disclosure, the thermal expansion coefficient of the packaging adhesive from which the organic solvent is removed may be enhanced by doping the material with a thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of the frit into existing glass cement, so that in a packaging process using laser radiation, an expansion volume of the packaging adhesive when heated is increased.
