A cable connector with improved performance and ease of use. The connector has staggered ports to reduce crosstalk and to prevent incorrect insertion of a plug into a receptacle. The plug may be constructed with subassemblies, each of which has a lossy central portion. Conductive members embedded within an insulative housing of the subassemblies may be used to electrically connect ground conductors within the subassemblies. Further, the connector may have a quick connect locking screw that can be engaged by pressing on the screw, but requires rotation of the screw to remove. Additionally, a ferrule may be used in making a mechanical connection between a cable bundle and a plug and making an electrical connection between a braid of the cable bundle and a conductive shell of the plug. The ferrule may be in multiple pieces for easy attachment while precluding deformation of the cable, which disrupts electrical performance.

A power control system allowing multiple voltage levels from a single power adaptor includes a power supply device and an electronic device. The power supply device includes a power supply and a first power controller. The power supply is configured to supply power for a graphics card as an external renderer, and the first power controller is configured to output a voltage signal. The electronic device includes a second power controller electrically coupled to the first power controller and the second power controller is configured for obtaining the voltage signal from the first power controller. The first power controller can output a first voltage or a second voltage to the second power controller to supply power for the electronic device. 1. A cable connector includes an insulative shell defining a receiving cavity extending along a front-to-back direction, a number of contact wafers retained in the receiving cavity, a number of cables, and a ground bar. The contact wafers include a number of signal contact wafers and a number of ground contact wafers arranged alternately. Each of the contact wafers includes an insulative housing and a number of terminals retained in the insulative housing. Each of the terminals includes a deflectable contacting section, a middle section, and a tail section. Each of the cables includes a conductive core connecting with a corresponding tail section and a shielding braid surrounding around the conductive core. The ground bar physically and electrically connects with the tail sections of the ground wafers and the shielding braids.

A cable connector includes an insulative housing, a number of contacts, an internal circuit board and a flat cable. The contacts are arranged in two rows. Each contact has a retaining portion retained in the insulative housing, a contact portion and a connecting portion extending from two ends of the retaining portion. The internal circuit board has a plurality of first golden fingers at one end thereof and a plurality of second golden fingers at another end thereof. The present invention provides a flat optical fiber light-streaming cable, wherein a first connection part conforming to the USB specification is installed on one side of the circuit board on which light emitting diodes is installed, and a plurality of junction points are connected to the signal line set and the electric power line set respectively enveloped by a middle cladding layer, optical fibers respectively corresponding to the LEDs and the transparent outer protective layer wrapped on the peripheries thereof are installed between the signal line set and the electric power line set. When the controller drives LEDs to respectively project light sequentially toward the optical fibers, light can pass through the light spots on the surface and present a stream-wise lighting state demonstrating successive and progressive light chasings sequentially per segment, thereby presenting various dynamic lighting effects such as blinking color, colorful water flow or the like.
