This tubular body is formed internally with a downward upstream step and a downward downstream step. At its upstream step the body is also formed with a downwardly U-shaped abutment forming a downstream-facing upstream insert seat. At its downstream step the body has a plurality of ridges defining an upwardly open U-shaped seat. Inserts, normally check valves, have rings receivable in these seats and each have a valve flap engageable with the respective ring. A cover is sealingly engageable over the well, and also serves to hold at least the downstream insert in place in the respective seat.

A torsion spring return system for a valve closure member, preferably for downhole use in an SSV, is described. The closure member or flapper uses torsion springs which can be wrapped circumferentially within the body of the downhole tool, generally following the periphery of the flapper. Downward rotation of the flapper stresses the torsion springs so that subsequently, when a flow tube or other device holding the flapper in one position is released, the torsion springs return the flapper to its seat. The connection between the torsion springs and the pin supporting the flapper is either a universal joint or involves an alignment rod running through the torsion spring, as well as other mechanisms which facilitate stress relief in the connection between the torsion spring and pivot pin.

The front cover includes an overflow tube and a hydraulic fluid input. The wall hydraulically separates the sump tank and the front cover. The flow control valve is disposed in the wall between the sump tank and front cover. The flow control valve is open when the transmission is going through an extreme maneuver and requires a greater amount of hydraulic fluid in the sump tank and the flow control valve is closed during normal transmission operation.

Generally, these devices and methods will be of use for a preterm infant who lacks coordination of the suck-swallow-breathe synchrony, but can also be used with full term infants who can benefit from rigid control of the flow of milk from a bottle, this includes, but is not limited to, infants with gastroesophageal reflux who can require pacing of feeds to allow for gastric emptying. The device generally cues the infant to swallow and breathe after each 1-4 sucks by stopping the flow of the fluid from the bottle after the infant has sucked sufficiently or a predetermined period of time has passed. Once the baby breathes or a period of time passes, the bottle resets for the next repetition. The device also serves to consistently slow the flow of milk during oral feeding. 1. Relevant specifications in the field of gas supply provide for different safety devices for installation in a gas-supply system, in particular, an acetylene-supply system. To provide such a safety device, which is characterized by a compact structure and a high level of operational reliability, this invention proposes that a valve body ( 1 ) incorporates an over-pressure valve ( 4; 104 ) of a quick-action shut-off device, a control valve ( 3; 103 ) of a pressure-limiting device, and a safety valve ( 2; 102 ), whereby the safety valve ( 2; 102 ) can be fluidically connected to the over-pressure valve ( 4; 104 ) and the control valve ( 3; 103 ), and closes either when the over-pressure valve ( 4; 104 ) opens due to an inlet pressure that is above the inlet-pressure limit value or when the control valve ( 3; 103 ) opens due to an outlet pressure that is above an outlet-pressure limit value.

An actuator system for a fluid playground including a first elongated tubular member defining a first axially extending enclosure and having a first inlet connectable to a fluid source, and a second elongated tubular member positioned within the first tubular member, the second tubular member defining a second axially extending enclosure, and having a second inlet in fluid communication with the first enclosure and an outlet traversing the first tubular member. The outlet is connectable to at least one fluid playground device. A plug element is shaped to removably and sealably close the second inlet of the second tubular member. A resilient member urges the plug element towards sealing engagement with the second tubular member. A pressure exerted on a movable actuating element connected to the plug element causes its displacement away from sealing engagement with the second inlet, thereby allowing fluid flow to the fluid playground device.
