When the blades are stored in a peripheral fashion around the tower, the method and system provides for automatic rotational indexing of the tower as the tower and turbine retract and extend, so the turbine is progressively aligned with each blade to be installed.

A protection device comprising an inflatable member and one or more structures is described. The inflatable member comprises a first wall and a second wall that form an internal chamber. The one or more structures are housed in the internal chamber, and each structure in the one or more structures comprises a first mesh and a second mesh connected by a plurality of tie members. Methods for manufacturing such a protection device are also described.

Commutator

A commutator has a plurality of commutator segments fixed to an insulating support member. The commutator segments are formed by cold or hot forming a copper billet cut from a length of copper wire. Each billet has a volume approximately equal to the volume of one commutator segment. Each commutator segment has a main body and an anchor integrally formed with the main body. The commutator segments are spaced about a circle and then an insulating support member is molded to the commutator segments to fix the commutator segments to the support member.

Non-conductive lid for transformers

The present invention is an electrically non-conductive transformer lid that may replace the top of the housing of a transformer or be attached to the housing of a transformer. The lid may isolate an animal that is in contact with the lid from the ground grid, even if the animal attempts to make contact with the energized primary conductor or other apparatuses. The present invention thereby prevents electric current from flowing through the animal's body to the ground and prevents outages or electric faults from occurring. It may be attachable to a variety of known types of transformers, including pole-mounted distribution transformers. The means of attaching and removing the lid may be performed by a single person. The lid may be shaped to prevent moisture or other particulates from entering the transformer and thereby further protect the function of the transformer.

Disclosed herein is a method of fabricating an antenna in which a flexible stamp is formed from a first wafer, the first wafer transferring a pattern to the flexible stamp, in which an antenna substrate is shaped into a three-dimensional contour with a second mold, in which the flexible stamp is positioned in the second mold to deform the flexible stamp into the three-dimensional contour, and in which a metallic layer on the flexible stamp is cold welded to create a set of antenna traces on the antenna substrate in accordance with the pattern. The antenna traces may then be electroplated.

Monolithic Microwave Antenna Feed and Method of Manufacture

A microwave antenna feed arrangement provided with a unitary body with a feed bore between a launch end and a back end of the body. A plurality of coaxial annular grooves are located on the launch end of the body. An OMT bore in the body extends from a side of the body to the feed bore. The body may be further configured with an end cap to close the back end of the feed bore or a feed elbow for dual polarization operation. The body may be manufactured for example, by machining or metal injection molding.

Hole Saw Plug Ejector and Method

A hole saw plug ejector includes a mandrel having a threaded end and a hole saw cup with cutting teeth on a leading edge to cut a hole in material. A pilot bit is provided in the hole saw cutting end of the mandrel. A retaining nut for holding the hole saw cup to the mandrel includes inner and outer threads. The inner threads engage the threads on the mandrel and an ejector spring engages the outer threads to provide a simplified system for changing ejector spring sizes for different sizes of hole saw cups.

Thereafter a permanent insulation layer is applied to the closed loop outer surface, preferably by spiral wrapping insulating tape about the circumference of the closed loop with a tape wrapping machine. The insulating tape has a catalytic chemical compound including at least one part of a multi-part epoxy resin. The closed loop is shaped into a rigid conductive coil by application pressure, in order to conform the coil to a desired profile. Application of the permanent insulation layer to the closed loop prior to its final shaping enables machine insulation taping over a larger portion of the coil circumference and reduces need for slower and more expensive hand taping.

The method causes no deformation of a flange formed on the base plate during caulking and is achievable at low cost.

A scent warmer has a base structure including a lower portion and a scented material-holding portion. The lower portion may include at least one sidewall and be at least substantially hollow. An electrical heat source and a filamentless electrical light source may be disposed in the base structure lower portion. The scent warmer may include a power supply input element for providing electrical power to the electrical heat source and the filamentless electrical light source. Methods of the invention may include methods of warming a scented material and methods of forming a scent warmer.

Pump dispensers

A pump dispenser in which the associated container interior reduces its volume progressively as product is dispensed to avoid air contact with the product. An air trap member having a downwardly-convex dish form is provided below a floor of the associated dispenser module around an inlet to guide any such air away from the inlet. A peripheral portion forms a retaining lip for flexible wiping contact with the container wall interior, allowing air passage on assembly of the dispenser. A central tubular formation of the trap member separates the trapped air from the inlet and can be used to plug the trap member into the inlet.

An annular affixment ring includes an outer periphery which seats within an undercut formed in the rim flange. A plurality of arcuate flanges extend from the inner face of the cladding and abut the inner periphery of the ring to maintain the outer periphery of the ring within the undercut. The ring includes axial apertures and the inner face of the cladding includes retention tabs having enlarged fluked ends which extend into the apertures to anchor the cladding to the ring. The ring can be constructed of one piece or formed of interfitting arcuate segments which are interlocked in end to end relationship.
