The laminated sheet has a liquid retentivity and a liquid releasability in a well-balanced manner, and has an excellent adhesion and an excellent fit to the skin in the state where the sheet is impregnated with a liquid component.

The fiber sheet 5 is selected from the group consisting of a woven fabric, a knitted fabric and a nonwoven fabric including 50 to 100 weight % of a polyetherimide fiber and 0 to 50 weight % of another flame-retardant fiber. The flame resistance, the heat resistance, and the wash resistance under ISO 11613-1999 as the international performance standards for fireproof clothing are: (1) flame resistance to be free from hole formation, dripping and melting; and to have afterflame time and afterglow time of not more than 2 seconds; (2) heat resistance to be free from firing, separation, dripping and melting; and to have a shrinkage rate of not more than 5%; and (3) washing resistance to have a shrinkage rate of not more than 3%. The fireproof clothing of the present invention includes the fire-protecting waterproof moisture-permeable sheet as an interlayer waterproof fabric for the fireproof clothing. Thereby, the present invention provides a fire-protecting waterproof moisture-permeable sheet that has excellent light resistance and heat resistance, and preferable dye-affinity and that can be produced at low cost, and fireproof clothing using the sheet.

Insulating sections are arranged between the conductive threads or insulating threads are incorporated into the structure. The structure also comprises an inorganic electroluminescent material and electric connection elements. According to the invention, the electroluminescent material is incorporated into intermediate areas of the structure or is embodied inside the structure in the form of coated threads. The structure is also provided with a coating which is also selective made of a fluorescent material and/or optical brightening agents. The overall arrangement comprises a transparent, elastic, covering protective layer.

A ballistic-resistant panel in which the entire panel or a strike-face portion thereof is formed of a plurality of sheets of high modulus high molecular weight polyethylene tape. The sheets of high modulus polyethylene tape can be in the form of cross-plied laminated layers of tape strips or a woven fabric of tape strips. The strips of UHMWPE tape include a width of at least one inch and a modulus of greater than 1400 grams per denier. The ballistic-resistant panel may include a backing layer of conventional high modulus fibers embedded in resin. A wide variety of adhesives were found acceptable for bonding the cross-plied layers of high modulus polyethylene tape together for forming the ballistic-resistant panels of the present invention.

The present invention describes a novel antibacterial treatment on textile materials using polymeric core-shell particles dispersing in water. These particles are prepared from a surfactant-free emulsion polymerization according to the method of U.S. Pat. No. 6,573,313 and have average particle sizes in the range of 100 to 1000 nm in diameter. When applied to a textile article, the particles form a uniform coating, which prevents the growth of bacteria and microbes. The treatment does not affect the fabric mechanical properties, hand feeling and appearance. Antibacterial activity on cotton is maintained even after 50 times of home laundering.

As opposed to existing manufacturing methods, which manufacture semiconductor devices provided with semiconductor substrates with highly arbitrary (i.e. not very reproducible) concaves or convexes, by forming an appropriate concave or convex or mesh at the transferring member step, the disclosed method can stably manufacture semiconductor devices provided with semiconductor substrates that have concaves or convexes of a fixed level.
