SURFACE-TREATED FINE ORGANIC PIGMENT AND COLOR FILTER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a surface-treated fine organic pigment having highly heat- resistant hue based on crystal growth suppression due to the thermal history of the pigment and also having high dispersibility when included in a pigment- dispersed resist by treating the surface of the original fine organic pigment with an amino resin bearing carboxy or phenolic hydroxy groups, and to provide a color filter bearing a highly transparent and heat-resistant colored coating film after photocured obtained by using the pigment. SOLUTION: This surface-treated fine organic pigment is such one that a film-forming resin adheres to the particle surface; wherein the amount of the amino resin as the film-forming resin is 3-25 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the pigment. PURPOSE: To excellently obtain an aliphatic dibasic acid ester useful as a sensitizer assisting coloring of heat sensitive recording sheet. CONSTITUTION: The objective dibasic acid ester is produced by an alkali halide removing reaction of an alkali metal salt of an aliphatic dibasic acid with at least one halogenated compound selected from the group consisting of halogenated alkyl compounds, halogenated aralkyl compounds and halogenated phenacyl compounds. In this process, at least one compound selected from the group consisting of dimethylformamide, N,N-dimenthylacetamide and dimethylsulfoxide is used as the solvent. SOLUTION: This fine organic pigment is such one that a film-forming resin adheres to the particle surface, consisting of a halogenated metallophthalocyanine with the central metal atom being Al, Si, Sc, Ti, V, Mg, Fe, Co, Ni, Zn, Ga, Ge, Y, Zr, Nb, In, Sn or Pb; wherein the amount of the film-forming resin having 2-oxo-1,3-dioxolan-4-yl group is 3-25 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the halogenated metallophthalocyanine.
