PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system which accurately determines whether a moving object entering a monitored area configured at a circumference of a building is a suspicious object or not. SOLUTION: The security system 1 includes: a detecting means 21 which detects a location of the moving object in the monitored area; a storage means 37 which stores each of a plurality of divided sub-areas of the monitored area; and a monitoring processing means 38 which determines whether the moving object is the suspicious one or not according to a transition type of a combination of a source sub-area and a destination sub-area, when detecting that the object moves from one sub-area to the other sub-area.
