A management system (22) comprises: a test order acquisition unit (62) that acquires a test order (111); a communication unit (63) that receives from a subject-terminal, by communication therewith, a subject-identifier, container information (112) for a specimen container (13) to be used by a subject (10) to preserve a specimen, and a container image (121) which is an image of the specimen container (13); a determination unit (64) that uses the container image (121) to determine the success of specimen collection; and a registration unit (65) that uses the subject-identifier to register, in association with each other, the test order (111), the container information (112) and the determination result (115) of the determination unit (64).
