The present invention relates to an iron supplement, and more particularly, to an iron supplement for plants and animals using pickling water. Since iron (II) ions contained in pickling water generated as a byproduct during a carbon steel pickling process in the iron industry are used as an iron supplement for plants and animals, the iron (II) ions may be used in bio-industries. That is, waste may be utilized as a resource to reduce environmental pollution. Also, iron for plant cultivation which is sold on the market does not have proven on-site effectiveness due to technical limitations. Also, since products imported from Japan are expensive, many people cannot reap the benefits. Thus, the present invention relates to economical and effective iron supplements in order to reduce environmental pollution by using material that is otherwise disposed of as industrial waste.
