Disclosed is an automobile allowing a seat belt to restrict a passenger while being suitable for the size of the body of the passenger. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the automobile comprises a retractor, a first sensor, a second sensor and a controller. The retractor winds or releases the seat belt. The first sensor detects an actually drawn length of the seat belt, which is a length drawn by the passenger. The second sensor detects the position of the passenger seating on the seat and the size of the body of the passenger. The controller sets a properly drawn length of the seat belt, which is a length required to be drawn, using the position and the body size of the passenger, which are detected by the second sensor, and controls the retractor to allow the seat belt to be wound or be released to adjust the actually drawn length detected by the first sensor to be equal to the set properly drawn length.
