The present invention relates to a rotary actuator and, more particularly, to a rotary actuator having a thrust bearing ring positioned inside a tube assembly means, which contains oil, thereby reducing wear and fracture resulting from rotational friction, increasing the pressure-receiving area of the piston, and increasing the rotational force of an axle rod. The rotary actuator according to the present invention comprises a tube assembly means, a piston, an axle rod assembly means, and a thrust bearing ring. The tube assembly means comprises a tube thread portion, which has a screw formed on the inner peripheral surface thereof, has a first entrance/exit formed thereon, through which oil can enter/exit, and has a second entrance/exist formed thereon, which is spaced from the first entrance/exit by a predetermined distance.
