The present invention relates to a displacement control valve for a variable displacement compressor, comprising a valve housing having a discharge chamber connection space and a crank chamber connection space, an electronic solenoid, and a valve body which reciprocates in the valve housing via the electronic solenoid. The valve body reciprocates from the discharge chamber connection space toward the crank chamber connection space to open/shut the gap between the two spaces, thus increasing the cross-section area of the valve body and improving productivity.
