The present invention relates to an anode for a metal-air battery, a manufacturing method therefor and a metal-air battery comprising the same and the anode comprises: a core formed in a needle shape and including a cobalt oxide or an oxide containing two or more types of metals selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, copper and chromium; and a shell formed in a flake shape and including a cobalt oxide or an oxide containing two or more types of metals selected from the group consisting of nickel, cobalt, manganese, zinc, iron, copper and chromium. As above, by using a core-shell structure, an excellent capacity characteristic of a transition metal oxide can be achieved and a charging voltage of the metal-air battery can decrease. In addition, the anode for a metal-air battery, according to the present invention, can be prepared without including carbon and a binder.
