The present invention includes a solid electrolyte for a lithium battery, which includes a compound of formula Li_(1+X)A_XB_(2-X)(PO_4)_3, and B_2O_3 or Bi_2O_3 as sintering aid. In the formulas, A is at least one material selected from a group consisting of aluminum (Al), chromium (Cr), gallium (Ga), iron (Fe), scandium (Sc), indium (In), lutetium (Lu), yttrium (Y), and lanthanum (La), B is at least one material selected from a group consisting of titanium (Ti), germanium (Ge), and zirconium (Zr), and X has a value of 0.1 to 0.5. According to the present invention, in an oxide-based lithium ion conductive solid electrolyte, B_2O_3 and Bi_2O_3 are added as the sintering additive to lower the sintering temperature, increase the density of the sintered body, and decrease the grain boundary resistance, thereby improving the lithium ion conductivity.
