The present invention relates to a portable rock residual magnetization polarity measuring device which comprises: a body forming an opening and a receiving space with a predetermined size, and receiving a rock sample; a sensor unit installed in the receiving space of the body, and measuring a residual magnetization of the rock sample; and a cover openably/closably coupled to the opening of the body. The body and the cover are manufactured with mu-metal and permalloy materials which are an alloy of nickel and iron and shield an external magnetic field while eliminating an inductive magnetization acting on the rock sample.
