Parkinson′s disease is a neurodegenerative disease in which dopamine neurons are gradually lost in the substantia nigra of a brain. The inventors have clarified that a PIM2 fusion protein can protect dopamine neurons from oxidation stress in an SH-SY5Y neuroblastoma cell and Parkinson′s disease animal model. It has been confirmed that the PIM2 fusion protein is smoothly moved into SH-SY5Y cells and into the substantia nigra of a brain through a Western blot analysis. The PIM2 fusion protein remarkably inhibits the generation of active oxygen species induced by MPP^+ and the fragmentation of DNA, and eventually induces the survival of SH-SY5Y cells. In addition, immunohistochemical analysis data using TH antibodies and cresyl violet coloration shows that the PIM2 fusion protein remarkably protects dopamine cells in the substantia nigra with respect to oxidation stress like MPTP. The present invention confirms that PRAS40 fusion proteins are effective in protecting nerve cells from cell death derived from oxidation stress in vitro and protecting animal models having cerebral ischemia in vivo. The PRAS40 fusion proteins are injected into nerve cells effectively depending on the concentration and time. The PRAS40 fusion proteins entering the cells increase a cell survival rate against the toxicity of hydrogen peroxide and reduce the DNA fragmentation induced by hydrogen peroxide and the level of reactive oxygen species in the cells.
