Consequently, because the magnetic circuit surrounds the vibration system, it is possible to produce a speaker that has only the height of the magnetic circuit, which contrasts with speakers of the prior art which have been formed to a height comprising the sum of the thicknesses of the magnetic circuit and the vibration system. Also, the acoustic characteristics of the speaker can be improved because the height of the speaker can be reduced even if the volume of the magnet is large.
