The present disclosure relates generally to vegetation management and control, in particular, to vegetation data capture, maintenance workflow generation, prioritization, passive and continuous monitoring of vegetation, and predictive analysis for vegetation that may be within or adjacent to clearance zones for railway, transportation, utility, pipeline, range & pasture, and industrial sites. 1. A method for identifying a vegetation object in an area within or adjacent to a specified clearance zone and/or right-of-way , the method comprising:loading digital geospatial data and information of the area with the clearance zone and/or right-of-way surface data and actively or passively collected vegetation surface data onto a mobile device and/or computer system;comparing, by means of overlaying the geospatial data sets, the geospatial data with clearance zone and/or right-of-way surface data to the vegetation surface data to determine the location of vegetation objects that are within or adjacent to the clearance zone and/or right-of-way, thus identifying a vegetation object of interest; andsending an alert message to a user that identifies the vegetation object of interest, including geospatial images of the area of the vegetation object of interest and the location of the vegetation object of interest.2. A method of identifying , reporting , and determining an appropriate alert rating associated with a vegetation object within or adjacent to a specified clearance zone and/or right-of-way , the method comprising:capturing an image, video, and/or description, of a vegetation object of interest;determining a geospatial position of the mobile (or collection) device during time of the image, video, and/or description capture, by means of global positioning system, to determine the relative location of the vegetation object of interest;receiving various attribute input data of the vegetation object of interest from a user;comparing the image, video, and/or description and ...
