A system, such as a robot, which responds to voice, gesture and other natural inputs from a user, is controllable when the user is out of range through use of a wireless controller. A robot tracks objects using sensory data, and follows an object selected by a user. The object can be designated by a user from a set of objects recognized by the robot. The relative positions and orientations of the robot and object are determined. A stretch wrapping apparatus is adapted for use with an automated palletizing machine to securely stabilize loads prepared by the palletizing machine. The stretch wrapping machine works with a rotatable turntable on which the palletized load is placed. A stretch wrapping head feeds pre-stretched wrapping film toward the rotating load and air jets blow the tail of the film onto the load. Relative rotational movement is created between the wrapping head and the load and the free end of the film is unsupported by any mechanical structure and is directed toward the load only with air from the jets. The film attaches to an outer surface the load and the wrapping head moves vertically so that the load is helically wrapped. Film is dispensed at a rate to provide payout of film that is consistent with the demand as each load corner transitions through its relative distance change from the dispensing point based on calculations intervals. A sensor detects changes in the optical character of the film—defects—to determine an out of bounds condition such as a film break. A film cutter arm assembly uses a hot wire and press rolls to cut the film when the load is wrapped.

Process for dust-free enzyme manufacture

This invention relates to processes for manufacture of substantially dust-free particles of enzymes by spray-coating solid particulate cores or seeds with fermentation broths containing enzymes. Fermentation broths containing from 5 % to 100 % total solids as enzyme and 4 % - 55 % total solids content in the broth may be used. For broths containing 4 % - 31 % total solids, enzyme and coating agents may be spray-coated so as to achieve a weight gain of 1 % - 24 % w/w over the initial weight of the cores. For broths with 31 % - 55 % total solids, a corresponding weight gain of 1 % - 100 % may be achieved. The enzyme coated cores may be further coated with coating agents. The total dry weight added to the cores ranges from 1 % to 19 % in the absence of coating agents and 1 % to 24 % in the presence of coating agents when the lower range of total solids content is used. The total dry weight added to the cores ranges from 1 % to 100 % when the higher range of total solids content is used. These conditions are especially useful in the granulation of enzymes with very high specific activities, so that effective enzyme activity can be provided by adding low amounts of broth solids to the cores. Reduction in added solids is of significant economic benefit in reducing granulation costs.

Support struts may be used to elevate one end of the frame and may be pivoted between an orientation generally parallel to the frame member and to an orientation generally away from the frame. Anchorless, ballast type bases may be used to support the solar collector assembly. Several assemblies may be stacked on top of one another in a storage or transportation configuration using spacers extending between the frames.
