Die Haltemuffe ist dadurch zum Hinterende des Sitzbretts hin zur verriegelnden Kopplung mit dem ersten Verschlussaufbau sowie zum Vorderende des Sitzbretts hin zur verriegelnden Kopplung mit dem zweiten Verschlussaufbau einstellbar. In anderen Ausführungsformen ist auch ein Verfahren zum Einstellen der Kleinkindertransportvorrichtung beschrieben.
